MBABANE – The organisers of the Sibebe Extravaganza concert have every reason to smile as companies have pumped in sponsorships worth E76 000.

A week after announcing the line-up  to the upcoming shows dubbed ‘Valentine’s fund-raising dinner’ and ‘Valentine’s’ which features over 20 artists, Sibebe Resort received a much-needed boost this week when Destiny Music delivered a sponsorship amounting to E60 000.

The leading local equipment supplier and sound providers was followed by a new company called Young Inc.

Extravaganza

The branding and printing enterprise also partnered with the Extravaganza Concert by printing materials worth E16 000.

While unpacking the Destiny Group partnership, Sibebe Resort’s Larry Mhlanga revealed Destiny Music has sponsored the event with sound system equipment together with stage, lighting and LED screens to be used during the first-ever concert.
“It is true, these partnerships were concluded this week and we thank Destiny Music and Young Inc for seeing it fit to sponsor a local establishment that will be hosting a show for local artists.  This will go a long way into making sure the arts industry is shaped into the right position,” Mhlanga said.

Destiny Group’s Lindelwa Dlamini confirmed the sponsorship.

Growth

She said as a company they were committed to contributing towards the growth of the art industry in the country.
While Mancoba ‘Khoba’ Mthethwa of Young Inc shared that the sponsorship was a result of their Corporate Social Responsibility Programme which was established to give back to the community and empower the society.
“We are proud to partner with Sibebe Resort, particularly on this event, because it features the best of our very own local artists,” the Marketing Officer at Young Inc, said.
