VOTE FOR ‘BIG BRAAI’ ARTISTS

MBABANE - Giving the people what they want.  The hugely anticipated and historic event will take place on July 21 at Mavuso Sports, Trade and Exhibition Centre.

To add a different spice to the event, the Biggest Braai has added another interesting component which will this year see the public having a say on who they want to see performing on the day. In other words, the public will have the power of choosing their favoured artists to entertain them on the main day.

Instrument

The Biggest Braai is Philani Maswati’s main fundraising instrument which attracts thousands of charity supporters and fun lovers within the country and beyond its borders.

Philani Maswati Chairman and Member of Parliament Lutfo Dlamini confirmed this initiative and mentioned that the charity’s main goal towards this year’s event was to attract as many numbers as possible hence the celebration of people born on this historic day, July 21.

 “As an attempt to increase attendance and enhance public participation, we will use social media to source the patrons’ wish list. We will try and get as close to the poll list as possible bearing in mind costs and artists’ availability,” said Dlamini.
He also noted that local artists are also invited to register with them if they want to be part of the event.

Interests

“Interested local artists are welcome to indicate their interests in being part of this fast growing entertainment calendar event. We want to announce the line-up early as we want to start bookings early,” he said.

He also emphasised that there will be a closing date for those who would like to register, which will be four months before the event.
This year they will also go big on the children’s section.

“We are getting a big international children’s game park this year plus international and exotic performances never seen in Eswatini before,” he said.
