MBABANE – For multi-talented Banele Khoza, there is no place like home.

This as the Fine artist/Curator/Interior Designer and founder of BKhz Gallery has confirmed his plans of opening an art gallery in the country.
This comes after the success of his first art gallery and studio situated at 68 Juta Street in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.

The gallery was officially opened late last year and attracted the Top Billing crew, who captured the opening for one of their episodes.
Khoza said the plan of having an art gallery in the country had always been there but it had to be stalled because the focus was on building a reputable brand first.

Enhancing

“Eswatini is home and I love being here. The idea of opening a branch here has been growing and I have since decided to give it all the attention it deserves.
‘‘It is time I come back here and invest in my own country while also enhancing the fine art industry locally,” he said.
Khoza revealed this during an interview in the country as he came to spend time with his family during the festive season.

He also added that he would first start by opening a branch in Cape Town before aiming for Eswatini.
The fine artist closed 2018 on a high after hoisting the Absa Gallery exhibition and also showing his talent in Paris.
The exhibition was rooted in one of the most pressing challenges facing the South Africa today – the support and empowerment of creative students.
