MBABANE – Archbishop Bheki Lukhele is funding Apostle Bishop Vusumuzi Maculuve’s tuition fees at Southern Africa Nazarene University.

The leader of All Nations Church continues to show his generosity as he confirmed that he was paying the tuition fees for only a year. Lukhele committed to paying the E18 000 that is required when studying the Bachelor of Education in Leadership and Management of Inclusive Education for newly-ordained Bishop, Maculuve.

This is the course Maculuve enrolled under early this year and half of the tuition fee has already been paid to cater for the semester. The course takes three years. On top of this, the archbishop also splashed E30 000 cash during the ordination ceremony on Sunday afternoon for Maculuve. The archbishop was the officiator of the ordination.

This means the archbishop has splashed a total of E48 000 on Bishop Maculuve this year.

Confirmed

This was confirmed by both Maculuve and the archbishop.
“I run out of words when I think of what the archbishop has done for me this year. He took me under his wing and nurtured me when I believed no one would come near me due to the controversies that I faced during my journey as a Christian. He chose to stick by me and I am very grateful for that,” he said.
Bishop Maculuve added that he wanted the archbishop to officiate at his funeral.

“If it could happen that I die before him, I do not want anyone else to handle my funeral but archbishop Lukhele of the All Nations church, he is now my family,” he said.
In addition, he said the money would be used to improve their church, God Cares Christian Fellowship, where he was ordained and a new office was opened. In appreciation, the bishop promised to present the archbishop with two goats and 20 chickens for Christmas Day.

The archbishop said he believed in Maculuve.
“He needs our support and the Bible teaches us to give and help one another. He has been through a lot and I believe he will lead a holy life and focus on doing God’s work,” the archbishop said.

Poetic

On Sunday, speakers such as Reverend Henson Ngwenya, the God Cares poetic team and ACASWA President Dumisani Manana, opened old wounds when they talked about the bishop’s past and how he learnt from it, repented and moved on with his life.  He was praised as most said they expected him to give up but he did not, instead he fought hard to be where he is today.
