MBABANE - Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak.

Local designers made sure they connected with the crowd and ‘spoke’ to them during the first ever Eswatini Fashion Week Summer 2018 edition with their show stopping designs. The festival was held on Saturday at the New Mall in Mbabane. One can attest to that the Kingdom is a home of innovative talent, as designers and models brought their best during the show. The New Mall was packed with hundreds of people looking dapper in their outfits.

Astonished

The show started with the first run way from Tee Tee Designs, the designs left the crowd astonished, which was a great way to kickstart the show.  They also had a special anti depression act choreographed by Sabelo Ndlela, that really made a mark to the audience and educated them on depression and its effects. The main purpose of the Eswatini Fashion Week was to seek to join forces with reputable retailers and other fashion and arts stakeholders to uplift the fashion industry within the kingdom.
Mancoba Flow Msibi, who is  the Board Executive, added that the Eswatini Fashion week sought to build a solid foundation for the fashion industry, by empowering local designers through the provision of a nationwide platform to showcase their products and inspire future entrepreneurs in the fashion industry.
