MBABANE - “I am deliberate and afraid of nothing!” This popular saying by America feminist Audre Lorde, has applied to Eswatini’s pop and RnB singer Mandisa Mamba’s music career, who has landed a gig in Ghana at the AFRIMA Music Village, a sub-division of the AFRIMA Awards and she will be performing on the same stage as ‘Faya’ hitmaker Davido.

Daviso is currently one of the most respected artists in the world and after releasing his album titled ‘Omo Baba Olowo’, his net worth escalated to approximately USD16 million by the end of 2016.

The artist will be performing in November 22 and the event will take place at the Independence Square in Accra, Ghana and will feature over 40 African superstars, including Davido, Nasty C, Mr P of P-Square, 2Baba (formerly known as 2 Face) and others.
Her performance will be broadcasted on DStv channel 196 from 5pm.

Also, the ‘Party’ and ‘Miss-Behave’ hit maker has been nominated for ‘Best Female Artist In Southern Africa’ against Nadia Nakai, Shekinah, Lily, Babes Wodumo, Ruby The Pigeon and Amara Brown at the AFRIMA Awards which are set for November 24, where South Africa’s Pearl Thusi will be the host.
Mamba pleaded that Eswatini gets behind the target of winning the AFRIMA by logging onto afrima.org and casting their votes under the category ‘Best Female Artist in Southern Africa’ as this would be a huge win for the country in getting our arts scene out into the world.
