MBABANE - The appointment of the new minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs has restored hope in the choral fraternity as well.

The renewed hopes that have been revived in the choral music fraternity in the country was expressed by Eswatini National Choral Music Association Chairman Sihle Gumbi, while congratulating Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Harris ‘Madze’ Bulunga on his appointment.

‘Madze’, as he is well-known in the soccer fraternity, was appointed last Friday and he takes over from Minister David ‘Cruiser’ Ngcamphalala, who was very active in this ministry.
Ngcamphalala has been appointed as the Minister of Tinkhundla Administration and Development, and has been reinstated Member of Parliament of Sigwe Constituency.

‘Madze’s current successes are not new almost a month ago, he was elected by the people of Mbabane East as their Member of Parliament.
Gumbi congratulated Madze, stating that he wishes all the best for him in his new political career.

“As ENCMA, we would like to congratulate the honorable minister on his appointment and we really believe in him.
“We are optimistic that he will assist us in terms of lifting choral music in the country.

“We have seen him taking football to greater heights and we are really sure that he will do likewise even in the choral fraternity, in the capacity of being a minister.
“We wish him well as he starts the new journey and we also pledge our support as choral musicians,” said Gumbi.
