MALKERNS - Ten months into the year and House on Fire is making sure that we usher in the festive season in the best harmonious way possible.

House on Fire in partnership with the title sponsor, TOTAL has re-launched the return of Total Gold Series; a classy fun affair that brings the regions’ hottest music acts to Eswatini’s iconic amphitheatre and this will be its third year since inception and the first show of this year’s series will take place October 26.

The Total Gold Series is a classy fun affair that brings the regions hottest music to Eswatini’s iconic Amphitheatre, brought to you by the producers of MTN Bushfire in partnership with Total Swaziland as the title sponsor of the series, as well as the year round partners; Happy Valley Hotel & Resort, Computronics, SkyWorld travel & tours, Bulldog Gin and Fitch & Leedes.


During the launch which took place at House on Fire, Malkerns yesterday where local media players were invited, it was revealed that this year’s shows would be exceptionally different from the past two years. The two shows for the 3rd edition of the Total Gold Series will take place on October 26 and December 14, 2018 respectively.

According to House on Fire’s Marketing Manager Bongani Dlamini, the event will cater for a VIP experience for customers seeking exclusivity. The venue will feature a VIP lounge with adjoining VIP seating, dedicated waiter service, private bar, meet and greet with the artists along with beverage and platter options will also be on offer.

“Expect an amazing musical delivery, to the beautifully curated soapstone space that plays host to only the finest local artists as well as the popular edish café serving mouth-watering meals throughout the series,” added Dlamini.

He further said House on fire is looking to up the game this year as the show organisers have identified top class acts for live performances, and promise a production that will excite music lovers.

Dlamini further revealed a great line up of artists from the region, who will be performing during the first show which includes the likes of Zimbabwean-born now South African based artist Berita, who is a multi-award winning, gold selling, Afro soul singer, songwriter and guitarist will headline the show on the night. 


The singer when contacted said she was excited to perform in a kingdom that is famous for its humanity and hospitality.
“I am looking forward to share my music with emaSwati and I hope that they will relate and enjoy it, I actually cannot wait to come there and experience all good that has been said about the kingdom,” said Berita, whose real name is Gugulethu Khumalo.
Some of Khumalo’s famous work  include Conquering Spirit (album), Thandolwethu (single), Sukundixhesha (single), Tell me you love me (single) and Notyatyambo (single).
