MBABANE – Procrastinating might cost a fun lover the MTN BUSHFIRE Festival 2019 ticket, as they are selling like hot cakes.

While many have confessed that they start saving for the festival as soon as they get home, MTN BUSHFIRE has announced next year’s dates and it’s sure going down as physical tickets will go on sale next month following that pre sale tickets were sold out.

Fun lovers have been advised to note down the dates; May 24, 25 and 26, 2019 because this is the weekend when the 13th edition of the MTN BUSHFIRE will be taking place.

Speaking to Wandile Dlamini, who is the Communications Officer at House on Fire, he stressed over the fact that at the rate ticket sales are going, it is evident that once days draw closer, people will be crying wolf over the fact that they have missed an opportunity to purchase tickets earlier.

He further went on to say that the rate of ticket sales has increased and fans are purchasing their festival tickets faster in comparison to 2016, 2017 and 2018. It is worth of note that MTN BUSHFIRE tickets have sold out for four consecutive years.

Dlamini said tickets sales are up to 70 per cent compared to last year, which gives them the assurance that they will have another historical event.
Dlamini confirmed that the MTN service centres, Mbabane, Manzini and Gables are happy with the way people have, yet again, shown interest towards attending the weekend-long festival and they have been calling in to enquire about when tickets will be available.
In a short space of the tickets being officially put on sale, over 2 500 have been sold, both online and having early birds tickets sold out, which means people have the momentum towards attending the festival.
“We are having a positive response, seven months into the festival and tickets sales are up, people really do not want to miss out on the Bush Fire experience”, he said.
Dlamini also said physical tickets will be available in November; the date is still yet to be confirmed and access to the festival will only be for people with valid tickets.
MTN BUSHFIRE 2018 was sold out well in advance of the event, leaving many festival fans disappointed and unable to take part in Africa’s largest and most diverse music festival.
