MBABANE – Signed, sealed and confirmed!

The aforementioned is in line with documents in the possession of this publication, which state that the South African vocalist Mlindos The Vocalist, real name Lindokuhle Magedezi, is slated to perform in the country on September 21 at Yoruba Lounge at The George Hotel in Manzini. The artist, who rose to fame early this year after releasing hit track ‘Amamblesser’, which is produced by DJ Maphorisa, is being hosted by Toxik Entertainment, the same stable which pioneered the Epic Gig and KaGogo Crossover. The documents in our possession have an agreement between Toxik Entertainment and the artist.

The artists confirmed that he was excited that he would be be performing in Eswatini for the first time. His songs are known to elicit the tragedies of loving a woman. Speaking on behalf of the hosts, Vilakati said this would be their first show this year after they hosted the KaGogo Crossover show. Toxik Entertainment’s Nicolas Vilakati said they were honoured to host such an esteemed artist. “This show was motivated by the fact that the team has suffered a lot, and it is a thank you gesture to the people who have been supporting us through our rough patch as Toxik Entertainment,” said Vilakati.

Vilakati’s statement emanates from the fact that their leader, Thami ‘DJ Toxik’ Mamba, suffered an accident and stroke which made the entertainment stable dormant for months.
“This is just our ‘thank you’ show and it is a platform that we will use to tell people that we are back with a bang,” said Vilakati. Mamba encouraged fun lovers to attend in numbers.
“People should come and enjoy good music from one of the best vocalists in the region,” said Mamba. Supporting act will be songbird Lindz and on the decks will be DJs Toxik, Wicked, Bisto, 2.0 and many others. Pre-sale tickets cost E150 while at the gate they will cost E200, and they are sold at Ocean Basket, Sdeez, Galitos and Yoruba Lounge.
