MBABANE – It is almost that time of the year where motorcyclists and lovers of fun are to flock the Kingdom of Eswatini in great numbers.

Riders Ranch in Sidvokodvo, the pioneering home of motorcycling in Eswatini, has revealed that this year’s Swazi Rally is set for August 31 to September 2, 2018.
This year’s internationally renowned event for bikers, spinning and drifting cars and music lovers will be turning 25 years and it will do so in style.

Confirming the dates for this year’s Swazi Rally was Riders Ranch Communications Officer Banele Dlamini, who also stated that this year’s event would be special as it had surprises in store for all those who will attend.

“A lot will be different this year because we will be celebrating 25 years and we are growing as a brand,” said Dlamini.
This year, the programme will include a lot of road safety education programmes for bikers and a lot of prominent entertainers.
The full line-up is yet to be unveiled.

Dlamini also advised those who wish to render their houses for rental along the Manzini-Nhlambeni-Sidvokodvo Roads to send the pictures of the houses to their website.

“We are also keen to ask traders and artists to send their applications to our website. The event is not just about fun but we are very conscious about building up our economy,” he said.
Dlamini clearly stated that he could not reveal more details about the Swazi Rally until it was formally launched.

Speaking on behalf of Eswatini bikers, Good Fellas Bikers Club member Bandile Edwards said they were excited now that it was almost that time of the year when bikers from the country and beyond take part in the Swazi Rally.
