MTN JOYOUS CELEBRATION SHUTS DOWN MAVUSO

MANZINI – The spirit of the Lord filled Mavuso Trade Centre last Saturday.


South Africa’s gospel music mass choir MTN Joyous Celebration delivered a splendid performance leaving over 4 000 gospel music lovers wanting more. The choir, led by Jabu Hlongwane, Lindelani Mkhize and Pastor Mthunzi Namba, gave a five-hour live performance, impressing gospel lovers who sang and danced along to almost every song sang on stage.


The choir performed over 25 songs, making sure that music lovers danced the better part of the night.
At exactly 8pm, MTN Joyous Celebration took to the stage and kicked off the show with their first song titled ‘Amen’.
This is the song that the choir used to set the tone of the show. The choir performed two sets.
Other songs that were a hit included ‘Umoya Kulendawo’, ‘Busa’ and ‘Bambelela’.


Heating up the show was none other than MTN Joyous Celebration choir’s Founder Jabu Hlongwane, who was just a marvel to watch.
With the screams and cheers coming from fans when Hlongwane performed, it was clear that the night was about to be more interesting as they shouted for a repeat when he performed his famous hit titled ‘Uliphathe Kahle’.
