MBABANE – Its cash for the best performing school in the SwaziBank Schools Choral Music Competition.

The ‘bank with a heart’ has put an incentive of E10 000 for any of the choristers who will have the highest number of bank accounts at the bank.
The incentive was communicated to the Swaziland Schools Choral Music Association (SNSCMA) by the bank’s Managing Director (MD) Zakhele Lukhele.
For choristers to win the money, they need to open one of the bank’s accounts.

SwaziBank has offered two products for the pupils and these are Umlolongi and the Siyakhula Accounts.
The pupils are allowed to ask their schoolmates and friends to open thea accounts to increase their chances of winning the money.
The winners will be known on the day of the competition’s final known as Champ of Champs.

On this day, the bank will take time to announce the winning school and also present the cheque.
“As an incentive for the pupils, the school with the highest number of pupils to have opened accounts during the competition will receive a cash prize of E10 000 to assist in meeting some of their objectives,” he said.

Exciting

Lukhele said it was exciting to see that the pupils understood the importance of music at a young age.
“As a bank we believe in this concept and I should say we are pledging our continuous support to this competition,” he said.
The MD thanked the SNSCMA, a committee headed by Khonelinkhosi Dlamini for being consistent in running the competition.

“We have seen the competition’s success and growth and we are happy. It is for this reason that we will continue giving our full support to this initiative,” he said.
Dlamini thanked the bank for the incentive saying this will enhance the pupils’ performance during the competition.

“The competition has started and you can see that the pupils are committed as they want to win,” he said.
He added, “The bank’s incentive came at a time when everyone was concentrating on the competition. We believe all the pupils especially the choristers will open the accounts. We also encourage parents to participate by opening the accounts.”
