MBABANE – The life of Mduduzi Gawuzela Simelane’s son needs to be celebrated. Fans of Mduduzi Nezinceku Zamagawugawu and the Christian fraternity will get an opportunity to celebrate the survival of Zweli, Gawuzela’s son.

Zweli is lucky to be alive after his leg was amputated after being crushed by a train last week Monday at Phuzumoya.
The Mduduzi Nezinceku Zamagagwugawu member is currently recovering at the Raleigh Fitkin Memorial Hospital.

May 5, 2016 is the day when Zweli’s survival will be celebrated. This will be during an all night praise and worship session to be held at the Metropolitan Church in Manzini.

On the night, there will be performances by local and South African Gospel artists. There will also be pastors from different churches, who will be there to specially pray for the family.

Announcing the event, ‘Gawuzela’ said after the accident, he felt there was a need to call on all their fans and fellow Christians to come together and pray.

“After the public heard about the accident, I received numerous calls from different people across the country, who not only sent their words of comfort but also notified me that they were praying for us. I then decided that I should host a thanksgiving prayer. I am still amazed how my son survived, and truly speaking, I see God’s hand in all this,” he said.

Gawuzela said at the moment it was difficult to mention the night’s line-up as he was still in negotiations with some of the artists expected to perform during the prayer.

“As an artist, I believe this is an opportunity for  us as artists to come  together and celebrate the survival of my son. I believe God has a purpose in all He does  and it is one of the reasons why he gave my son another chance at life. I just want us to come together, regardless of denomination and worship as one,” he said.
