MBABANE – Local comedian Dr Shakes has found love, but has he really?

The tall funny comedian took his social media followers by surprise when he posted a picture of him and an unidentified lady on his FaceBook page ‘proposing’ to her.

Under the caption ‘She said yes! Couldn’t do it in December I was busy, had to do it today.’
The post received over 600 likes and over 100 comments where his fans were asking him if he was really engaged to be married and asking him about the identity of the lady in the picture.

Talking to the comedian whose real name is Bonginkosi Dlamini about the supposed engagement, he told this reporter that it was a prank for his followers and that he was not engaged.

When asked who the lady in the picture was he said that he wouldn’t want to violate her privacy therefore he won’t disclose her name because at the end of the day it was a joke.

“It shows that despite the fact that I am a comedian people take me seriously sometimes and I have seen that I have followers who care about me, but it’s all a joke,” said Dlamini.
He further said that  the reason why he posted it may be a build up to something that he is working on which people will get to know about in due time.
January has started off in a joyful manner for some of the local entertainment personalities as model extraordinaire Coralee Vilakati has also raised a lot of questions after she posted her finger with what looked like an engagement ring on it.
