MBABANE – Hardly two months after being elected into office, Mzwakhe Myeni’s executive committee has made a record.

The Siyawela Gospel Music Crossover organised by the Association of Christian Artists in Swaziland (ACASWA) filled the Mbabane Worship Centre recording over 5 000 gospel music lovers.

ACASWA had partnered with the Mbabane Worship Centre in hosting the show which ACASWA termed as their success story.
At first the show was scheduled for the Prince of Wales sportsground but ACASWA later changed the venue after partnering with the church led by Apostle Justice Dlamini.

Myeni and his committee which include Frans Dlamini, Thabile Myeni, Ronnie Dlamini, Tanele Mahlobo and Bonginkosi Dludlu had less than two months to see to it that the show becomes a success.
Gospel music lovers came in numbers as they filled the church. Others were forced to sit on the carpet as they all wanted to witness the local artists performing.

Also present was the Apostle who ushered the gospel music lovers into the New Year.
Artists who performed included Phathwakahle Mabuza who left the gospel music lovers wanting more.

The ‘Ingadlangadla’ fame artist just gave it all leaving music lovers in a dancing mood. Also giving a splendid performance was Mzwakhe Myeni and his sister Thabile and Shiba and Travellers who all gave a splendid performance.
Music lovers danced for the show night as they were entertained with the best music.
