AMANDA MO ON SOUTH AFRICA’S ILANGA NEWS

MBABANE – Amanda Mo is making money moves. There’s no denying the fact that local artists are taking on the South African market and spreading their wings.

Born Sithandazile Amanda Motsa, Amanda Mo is an RnB and Pop artist who draws her musical influences from a number of artists.
The musician recently signed with Icon PB Music which is the same recording stable that groomed local sensation Sandziso  ‘Sands’ Matsebula. She made it to the pages of Ilanga News Paper which is Durban’s leading selling newspaper where the journalist, Zowakha Mbatha made a feature of the local songstress.


In the article with the title ‘Sekungenise Omunye umSwati emculweni’ which can be loosely translated to ‘Another Swazi has ventured into the music industry’ she spoke of her future plans with her new management.


She highlighted that it was time to broaden her horizons and try out something that she thinks will help her spread her wings across the continent.  Already the talented vocalist is shooting her video in Durban for her song ‘Uwami’ which is a declaration of love. The song has already hit the number one  spot on Gagasi FM’s Afrosoul charts.


Amanda Mo has shared a stage with top Swazi artists and South African music heavyweights such as Lira and Moneoa and has showcased her talents in some Johannesburg, Nelspruit and Durban events.
