MBABANE – South African corporate entities are also embracing the ‘Yaya’.  80 Script’s new single titled ‘Yaya’ has been incorporated into MTN SA and Vodacom as one of its caller tunes.

Caller tunes are the tunes (songs often times) that callers hear when dialling. caller tunes service is a network function that is set by the cellular company.
This service was setup last Thursday, where posters of the song being made a caller tune for these giant South African companies were displayed.

According to 80 Script’s management team member RJ, this deal has been looming for sometime and the deal was sealed early last week.

“This deal means growth for the rapper. Being recognised in one of South Africa’s biggest companies is a great milestone. It is one of our goals to infiltrate the international markets and this has proven to be a step in the right direction. We are keeping a positive mind that ‘Yaya’ will open more doors,” said RJ.

‘Yaya’ was officially released on June 21, after being in the studio since early last year. By the time the track was released, the tune was not new to music lovers and fans to 80 Script as he has performed it many times.
“We wanted a fine and crisp product, and that is why it took so long to release the final song. We also took longer because assembling the producers under one roof was almost impossible, as some of them constituted people from South Africa,” said RJ.
