MR SD PAGEANT IS BACK

MANZINI – Four years later, Mr Swaziland is back! Enlivening the Mr Swaziland title, Linda Chester was revealed by Pageant Swaziland (Pageant SD) as the one who will take over the managerial position of hosting the next Mr Swaziland.

Chester is a well-known model who has been part of Pulse Modeling Agency.
Chester said the reason why he decided to take on the challenge was because he saw the niche in the industry of having Mr Swaziland.
“Every time I would go to the gym, I would notice just how much we are sleeping on some good looking men who can carry well the title of being Mr Swaziland.

‘‘However, it is not just about the looks of course, but more about what that particular individual can do for the nation to instill change and encourage the youth to doing something towards bettering their lives. 

Hopefuls

‘‘So far, I have a few candidates in mind but after we launch Mr Swaziland sometime in November will be out and about scouting for other hopefuls,” said Chester.
However, it was made clear that all pageants to be run in the country will be overseen by the committee, Pageants SD which consists of new members Doreen Mapasures, Raksha Aiyathurai and Catrien Potgieter.

Mapasures said that she was glad to have been given the opportunity to be part of Pageants SD as she has worked with numerous pageants before and that with her experience she is looking forward to contribute to the growth of Pageants Swaziland.

On the other hand, Raksha said that she has worked with various types of ladies in other projects and that since she has been approved in the committee she has noticed just how much her personality with the other women gel and she was looking forward to sharing ideas that will also bring about positive change and growth in as far as pageantry in the country is concerned.
