SOUL BROTHERS LAUNCHES BOOK IN SD

EZULWINI – Had local mbaqhanga music lovers not shown their love to South African leading mbaqhanga group Soul Brothers, the group would not be here today.


This is contained in the Soul Brothers life story book which is expected to be launch in the country on Saturday.
Soul Brothers has published a book talking about its close to 40 years journey in the music industry.


The book relates how the group, that brought stars such as the late group leader Davis Masondo together with the group lead pianist and now leader of the group Moses ‘Blackmoses’ Ngwenya, came to existence.


In the book which will be sold for the first time after being published on Saturday night also discloses how Soul Brothers visited the country for the first time and recorded a full house event.


Launch


It states that since then the group has been regarding Swaziland as its second home.
It is one of the reasons why the Blackmoses led group thought it would be proper to launch the book in the country before proceeding to South Africa.
The group also brags about it’s over 35 albums in the music industry something which the members say is a huge success for them.
Also shared in the book is the late leader Masondo’s love for the country. 


It is mentioned that each time Masondo would get an invitation from any promoter in the country, he would make sure that the group staged one of its best performances.
Explaining more about the book, Sydney Festi Maluleka who is the author of the book said Soul Brothers is an old group which has a lot of followers.
