MATSAPHA –  Good things come to those who believe, better things come to those who are patient and the best things come to those who do not give up.

Illa Penboy, who has managed to be on everyone’s lips for the past two years with his dream of following in the footsteps of South African hip hop sensation Cassper Nyovest who had previously successfully filled up The Dome, has this time around managed to attract a crowd that most local artists have struggled to attract during their shows.
The ‘Tintfo Tetfu’ hit maker last year attempted at filling up Mavuso but that dream remained just a dream as only a few people showed up, and this year, through his persistent and believing in his goals, he managed to attract a crowd of over 400 people who braved the cold on Saturday night and supported his vision despite that he had anticipated good.

With an all local flavor line up, Illa Penboy gave the opportunity to other local artists and aspiring artists to be part of the dream as they had the platform to perform on stage.
Staying true to its word, MTN Swaziland Pulse was there to grace the event, with its stall set up and giving away prizes to fun lovers who would now and again jump on stage to answer questions probed by the MC of the night.
By 6pm, shuttle transport services were at the various pick up points, Mbabane, Manzini, Matsapha and Kwaluseni for those who wanted to be chauffeured to the event and these were courtesy of Waxola Investments.  Despite the fact that the weather was overcast, fun lovers could not care less as they came dressed in the latest hip hop trends to stick to the whole concept of the day which was hip hop.

Various artists and DJs took to the stage including the likes of Trippy King 20, Twins of a kind, Njebza, Ciyah, Msizi, Judah, Nk to name a few.
Fun-lovers seem to be having a ball as they would dance along to every performance that took place on stage while others sang along to the lyrics of some of the local artists. Illa Penboy would now and again pose for pictures with his supporters and by the time he took over the stage, it was evident that he was the man of the moment.
He for the first time performed his single ‘Tintfo tetfu’ which received a good feedback from  revellers as they were taken by the song and its beats.  The ladies could not hold in their loud screams when Msizi and Swazi Bee jumped on stage to perform alongside Illa Penboy on the song ‘Rememba’.  Those chilling at the VIP and VVIP had the luxury of enjoying free wifi while also getting first class treatment as waiters would make sure they provided services efficiently.
