MBABANE – Most viewers were asking themselves if they would ever watch the popular TV programme ‘Makhelwane Sibili Simbona Ngetento’.

The answer to that questions is simply yes.
The TV programme that used to be hosted by gospel artist Mduduzi ‘Gawuzela’ Simelane, who happens to be the founder of the programme is expected to be screened on Swazi TV a few weeks from now.

The programme, which had one of the highest viewers hip was suspended on air following allegations that the host was using it to launch a strong campaign for the 2013 national general elections.

He launched the programme in 2010, ironically at a function attended by the former Deputy Prime Minister Themba Masuku, members of the royal family and some government officials.
Simelane, during the launch, indicated that he had financed production of the programme from his own pocket.
The Entertainment Desk can confirm that Gawuzela met with some of the station’s managers where the matter was discussed. The meeting was held on Wednesday morning.

During the meeting it was agreed that the programme be brought back on air.
The only thing that Swazi TV and  Gawuzela now need to agree on is the time of screening.
Earlier on, Gawuzela had indicated that he had been in constant communication with Swazi TV’s management over the possibilities of the programme returning on air.

Gawuzela said the deliberations were at an advanced stage and were still fruitful and promising.  The Zion artist confirmed that they had reached an agreement with Swazi TV adding that the only thing that was missing was for them to agree on the time.
