MBABANE – Swazi born Promise Mlangeni’s involvement in the Mpumalanga Praise Choir will bring a smile to some of the country’s families.

Founder and leader of Mpumalanga Praise Sipho ‘Big Fish’ Makhabane is splashing cash to the group’s fans.
This is in support of the project which has seen Mlangeni being recruited to join the choir. Mlangeni made her first appearance with Mpumalanga Praise last week Saturday in Middleburg.

During the last week’s recording, Makhabane splashed E10 000 to some of the lucky fans who attended the show.
Initially Makhabane had promised to give one of the lucky winners the whole sum of E10 000 but during the show, the fans felt the money should be shared among  five people.

As a result, five people went home with a sum of E2 000 each.
Makhabane has mentioned that the same thing will happen to local fans adding that the money will be more than what  was won by the fans who attended the show in Middleburg.

Impressed

“It is a pleasure to have an artist like Promise being featured on this project. She did well on stage and most people were impressed by her performance,” he said.
Makhabane said local music lovers should brace themselves for an exciting launch of Mpumalanga Praise’s latest CD and DVD which will be released soon after its mixing and mastering.
