MBABANE – He was let down by a fellow gospel star he trusted.  Gospel artist Linda Dlamini has left no word out when explaining how the ‘Jesu Ufikekuseni’ hit maker lied to him.

Regardless of the successful show that the local gospel sensation pulled on Saturday during his live CD/DVD recording, he is still livid about the disappearance of  South Africa’s Sipho Ngwenya a few hours before the recording.
According to Dlamini, the South African  star was scheduled to perform at least three songs, one of which was to be featured on the recording, as per his contract.

Linda’s management states that they had done everything according to how they had articulated the logistics of the show and they were shocked at the allegations that the gospel star did not have a permit to perform in the country when he had performed during the first Gospel Sunday at the Trade Fair two weeks ago.

Normally the permit grants an artist with 30 days at the border. Its for this reason that  Linda Dlamini’s management did not do any permits because they believed that they were sorted by SIPA.  However it turns out Ngwenya performed without a permit at this year’s SITF.

Linda Dlamini and his manager Siyabonga Sukati told the Entertainment Desk that they still do not believe that Ngwenya’s non performance  was due to  the permit.

“After the permit issue was raised on Friday, a day before the show,  we did everything possible to make sure that all was in order and we have proof.  We had already contacted Home Affairs officials who advised us to simple go to the border post and pay E500, simply as that. However,

Ngwenya and his team decided to leave without telling a soul,” said Dlamini.
