MBABANE – Letters of consent from parents of Miss Swaziland entrants under the age of 21 are non-negotiable.

All girls who enter the pageant and are below the age of 21 are urged to have these letters on Saturday during the Mbabane scouting session of the pageant to be held at the Corporate Place.
This was confirmed by the pageant Director Nosisa Maziya who said all girls interested in joining the pageant must familiarise themselves with all the requirements that have been mentioned on the pageant’s official pages as well as the entry forms.

Also stated in the entry form is that all the aspiring beauty queens  should be natural born females who have never been married, divorced or had children.
She added that despite the scouting that the organisers were embarking on, entry forms for the pageant are available and those interested in getting the forms should contact Lammy on the mobile number 7673 4274 and Nosisa, the pageant director on 7602 3964.

The entry fee is E50 and entrants are expected to bring all requirements on the entry form when participating in the scouting run for the pageant.
The scouting will begin at 10am to 3pm.

The Miss Swaziland Pageant was launched a few months ago where the entire pageant committee was unveiled.
The members of the committee are Thembekile Magongo who is the PRO, Lungelo Vilakati who is the creative director, Ngcebo Nxumalo, Nosipho Dlamini who is a scouting manager and Telamsile Zubuko who is the administrator and former Miss Swaziland 2nd Princess.
Nosisa has reached out to those who are interested to hold the nation’s most coveted beauty title to join the pageant and keep looking out for scouting sessions in their regions.
