MBABANE – The womb that gave birth to the mighty Ncandweni Christ Ambassadors is no more.

Solomiya, mother to the award winning group key members Timothy, Mzwakhe and Thabile Myeni died peacefully last week at her home at Ncandweni.
She was popular in the music industry for giving birth to the three, who happened to have been the stars of the country’s gospel music industry.
Solomiya has always been known for her good spirit when it comes to the support of her children especially during their performances.
From time to time when Ncandweni Christ Ambassadors performed, she would be part of the audience watching the performance.

Also, when the group had challenges, the group members would run to her to seek advice and she would make sure that the challenges were solved.
The news that Solomiya had passed away started circulating on Thursday morning.
Most people, especially gospel music artists, were shocked and did not believe that Solomiya had passed away.
Some of the artists called the Entertainment Desk to confirm the news.

Confirmed

Yesterday, Timothy Myeni, Ncandweni Christ Ambassador leader confirmed the news that their mother was no more.
Myeni who spoke in a very sombre tone confirmed that their mother had passed away and that the funeral would be held next Sunday morning.
“The funeral will be at Ncandweni after a vigil. We have arranged a memorial service at the Matsapha Evangelical Church on Saturday at 11am and thereafter we proceed to Ncandweni,” he said.
The Association of Christian Artists in Swaziland (ACASWA) has sent condolences to the family on behalf all the artists in the country.
The Myeni siblings are all subscribing members  of the association.
