ACASWA TO BEGIN REGIONAL TOURS SCOUTING FOR A CAPPELLA TALENT

MBABANE - Good news for aspiring musicians.

ACASWA will be embarking on a regional tour to look for aspiring artists who can sing a cappella. This comes after a decision was made by the entity where they saw a need to explore a cappella music and make it relevant in the local music scene.
Ronnie Dlamini, a representative of ACASWA, said they noticed how there were a few artists that sing this genre of music and that it is only popular in the church.
“We will be going around the country and we aim to scout talent in all four regions starting with Shiselweni region this Saturday. we will be out in Nhlangano particularly Mathendele Hall  where we will be expecting people to come and audition,” said  Dlamini.

The auditions will start at 9:30am and the overall winners will be announced after all regions have been visited. Since July is Arts and Culture month, ACASWA has decided to unleash new talent this month and also open doors to those willing to be groomed. 
The second segment of the tour will take place in Hhohho, the Swaziland Theatre Club and the third segment will be in Manzini, Labotsibeni Hall at Hillside High School.  There will be famous groups that will tag along during these auditions which include, Ukuthokoza Kwamadodana, Izwi Lamaweseli,Amadodana Asepostoli and Amadodana AkuMatsapha.
