MBABANE – Fans wanted to hear ‘Into inthi Gci’ but OkMalumKoolkat was nowhere to be seen.

Famous South African artist OkMalumKoolKat was not paid to attend the Epic Gig that was held at Esibayeni Lodge on Saturday, an event hosted by Toxic Entertainment.
This was revealed by his management Bkay G Management who told this reporter during an interview that there had been no payment received from Toxic Entertainment and further said that they had not finalised the contract.

Perform

“Having said that OkMalumKoolKat could not come perform,” the management team said.
Having been contacted for their side of the story, Tami Toxik Mamba who is the director of Toxic Entertainment revealed that indeed the fault was on their side as they were relying on one of the sponsors to pay for the headlining artist to perform at the show.

“It is unfortunate that one of our sponsors pulled out at the eleventh hour and this resulted in us not being able to meet the commitment to bring OkMalumKoolKat,” Mamba said.

Disappointed

On another note, Bkay G Management revealed to this publication that fans of the artists who were disappointed by him not attending the Epic Gig should have no worries as the artist is super excited to be performing at the HIPNOTIK Festival on July 7.
“He is, however, booked to perform at another event on July 7 and he is very excited,” his management said, confirming that the artist would definitely be here for the HIPNOTIK Festival.
