MBABANE – It’s ‘My Voice, My Future’ as SwaziBank, pumps in a sum of E400 000 for this year’s SwaziBank Schools Choral Music Competition.

This year’s sponsorship has increased by E20 000. Last year, the sponsorship stood at E380 000.
The E400 000 excludes financial support provided by the bank towards other costs of the competition such as branding, promotional merchandise and events management.

Unveiling the sponsorship was the bank’s Managing Director (MD) Zakhele Lukhele who made it clear that the bank was excited to be part of the school programme and it was one of the reasons why they saw it fit to be part of the sponsors.

“It is my pleasure to welcome everyone to this event where we once again reaffirm that the SwaziBank Schools Music Competition will take place this year. The Schools Music Competition sponsorship has become a significant part of SwaziBank’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) Programme.

This is an initiative that has undoubtedly created a strong bond between the bank, schools, teachers, parents and pupils,” he said.
He noted that since the competition was created in 2005 it has been part of the Bank’s CSI Program and the continued sponsorship of the competition is a representation of confidence the Bank has in this initiative. “It pleases me to announce that the bank will sponsor the competition even this year, which will be for the 13th year. The sponsorship for 2017 is E400, 000, an increase from E380 000 last year,” he said.

“He added, “I am aware that the competition has already started and ends with the Champ of Champs final on Sunday July 2.
