MBABANE – MTN Joyous Celebration fans better keep their Thursday evening free!

MTN Joyous Celebration’s Heal Our Land Concert, which will be staged in Manzini in July, will be launched on Thursday, June 8 with some of their top stars coming through to grace the event.
The MTN Joyous Celebration 21 show is brought to the country by MTN Swaziland and Destiny Group and this will be the fifth year in a row that the group comes to perform in Swaziland at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre. The launch will be held at Royal Swazi Sun’s Gigi’s Restaurant in an evening event to be spiced up by live entertainment.

This was confirmed by Destiny Group’s Managing Director Tom Lin in a press release yesterday. He also revealed that the launch would also offer a unique surprise digital experience for guests.
“The launch aims at creating awareness about the event logistics to the public and our partners. MTN Joyous Celebration has confirmed availability to send through a number of their cast and managers for the launch. There will also be some live music at the launch for the first time,” he said.

Entry to the launch will be by invite while Super Fans will also get a chance to meet the group by qualifying for entry through a social media competition.
“The group will be available to meet and greet their fans on the day. The names of the members coming through cannot be disclosed for now as the group wants to create a surprise for their fans and guests,” he said.
The much-loved gospel ensemble performed and recorded at Potter’s House in Dallas, US, the church of gospel icon Bishop TD Jakes in December last year.

This is the first time Joyous has recorded outside of SA borders and the music produced in the three CD and two DVD combo was launched last month. As is tradition with Joyous, they have unearthed new gems that debuted during the Joyous Heal Our Land Tour which started at Carnival City in Brakpan, East of Johannesburg. New voices are Esethu Mngxuma from Cape Town, Nozipho Phiri from Empangeni in KZN, and Londiwe Masondo from Durban.
Details about entry fees for the Swaziland show as well as show times will be revealed at the launch.
The group has already issued a Save the Date call on their social media pages about the Swaziland leg of the tour confirming their participation this year.
