SWAZI JIVE GIVES BACK TO THE POOR
MBABANE – Answering the social call, Swazi Jive this past weekend gave back to the destitute.
With the build up to the upcoming Hippnotik Festival, Swazi Jive is making their presence felt, not just for fun lovers but for the less privileged too.
They put wide smiles on the faces of children by taking their Saturday off to share food, play and motivate them.
It is often said that one leaves a mark in a destitute child’s life not simply by handing out what is assumed they need but spending time with them and engaging them because it is not just material things but compassion they tend to hanker after.
Led by Swazi Jive’s director and founder Sakhile Nkambule, the whole team went to one of the care points in the country, Motjane Neighbourhood Care Point, to extend love and a helping hand to orphaned and vulnerable children. It was not only the Swazi Jive team but fans joining in to make a difference in these children’s lives. Having successfully spent the day with the children, empowering, playing and feeding them Swazi Iive thanked their fans for supporting the initiative that brought smiles to the young leaders of tomorrow.
“To everyone who donated or gave us a helping hand, thank you and God bless you,” Swazi Jive said on their official page which featured the activities that took place on the day, in the form of pictures. Nkambule, said as the build up to the festival starts, they would continue to help the less privileged by making donations of food parcels, clothing, school shoes, sanitary towels and other basic necessities.
He refused to claim the project as his own as he explained that he works in partnership with friends and fans who have shown eagerness to join the Sakhile Nkambule Foundation.
