MANZINI – If you don’t have a sense of humor then comedy isn’t for you.

Fun lovers came in their numbers to witness the last beat of what was left of the International Comedy Festival at The George Hotel in Manzini on Saturday night.

About 400 comedy lovers were treated to jokes that were performed by different comedians from different countries. South African comedian, Sifiso Nene who burst into the comedy scene as the winner of the first ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ Reality Show in 2009 was the MC  for the day.

The laugh filled extravaganza drew a lot of attention from comedy lovers as they seemed to be enjoying the festivities that came with the night. A lot of comedians, however, would joke about the current ongoing politics in their countries with all of the South African comedians making fun of the situation in  the South African Parliament.

The MC would regularly drop jokes while trying to keep the crowd entertained and upbeat to what was happening on the night. The show which was expected to start at 7pm ended up starting at around 8:30pm due to the fact that a lot of comedy lovers were still coming into the venue.

However, the host made sure that things were done in order and that comedians performing on the night stuck to their scheduled time on the stage.

Local comedians, Mandy and Mfolozi also joined the other comedians from other countries on stage where Mandy the comedian’s jokes mostly were about some of the prominent figures in the country including the Prime Minister of Swaziland,  Sibusiso Barnabas Dlamini whereas Mfolozi Maziya’s jokes were mostly about funny sexual encounters.
