This year’s sponsorship has been increased by E22 000, as last year the sponsorship stood at E75 000.

Last year’s finals were held at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre  where all patriotic Swazis attended to enjoy locals showcasing their skills during the Imvelo Sibhaca Competition Finals.
Gracing the launch of this year’s competition was the Minister of Sport, Culture and Youth Affairs David ‘Cruiser’ Ngcamphalala.
Announcing this year’s sponsorship on behalf of Swaziland Beverages was Sanele Khumalo, who said they were excited to be part of this initiative.
Khumalo noted that as a company they were pleased to have been involved in sponsoring the competition for the past three years.

“When it all started, we had agreed that we would sponsor this competition for three years. This is the last year in as far as this quarter is concerned. Once the competition is over we will go to a round table with the organisers who include the Swaziland National Council of Arts and Culture (SNCAC) and see how the three years went,” she said.
Accepting the sponsorship, the minister said he was delighted to be part of the launch especially because it had been organised under the SNCAC umbrella.

“Such sponsorships are known to be part of soccer but it is exciting that it has now come in to be part of culture. I just wish the relationship between Swaziland Beverages and the SNCAC be a long lasting one. We want to see more of such activities continuing,” he said.
Stanley Dlamini, SNCAC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said the competition has brought excitement to most people.
“Everybody started to be excited about the competition and the way it is growing. We just hope the public will continue supporting this program and it all starts by supporting the Imvelo brand,” he said.
