STA TO HOST SABC3 TOP BILLING CREW IN SD

MBABANE – The Kingdom of Swaziland is set to highlight some of her prime leisure, entertainment and lifestyle offering on one of South Africa’s leading lifestyle and travel television programmes; Top Billing, which shows on SABC3, courtesy of the Swaziland Tourism Authority (STA).

In a statement, STA Marketing Manager Bongani Dlamini revealed that they will be hosting Top Billing crew for a holistic leisure and lifestyle profiling of Swaziland, which starts this coming Thursday and ends Monday morning.

“We are ecstatic at having hosts and production crew from one of the premier travel and lifestyle shows in South Africa, Top Billing – a show that commands over a million viewers every week,” said Dlamini.

He revealed that the crew would  arrive in two batches; the production and the celebrity teams, with the former entering the country through Ngwenya Border Gate and the latter through KMIII International Airport.

“The celebrity team is made up of South African Olympian Luvo Manyonga and his famous elder sister Nosipho Manyonga, while the production team has presenter Nico Panagio (a celebrity in his own right), cameraman Grant Nelson and production director Rogan Kerr,” further revealed Dlamini.

Dlamini said hosting SABC3 Top Billing crew was part of STA’s marketing strategy, where the entity gets to host international media and bloggers from time to time, for familiarisation trips.

“We have seen in the past the country getting immense publicity and coverage on various media platforms from the efforts of these media crews that we host, and we are confident that Top Billing will do ‘destination Swaziland’ great justice as well,” said Dlamini.
