MBABANE – Swazi-born 28-year-old actress, TV presenter and shoe designer, Amanda Du-Pont has made her mark in the spotlight as she keeps shining in the South African entertainment scene.

Du-Pont is in this week’s cover of Grazia Magazine, a South African fashion and news weekly magazine. The magazine is aimed at globally savvy, fashion forward and lifestyle conscious individuals and it has featured South African celebrities who include Bonang Matheba, Boity Thulo, Unathi Msengana, Kim Kardashian, Beyonce and Victoria Beckman to name a few.

In this 213th edition of the magazine, the actress speaks about her Swazi origins, what helped her overcome the trauma of an abusive relationship, her new man and the secret to her success.
Du-Pont’s latest venture is her shoe design range called Footwork X Amanda. She shows her love for family as there are four styles of shoes in the Footwork X Amanda range which are named after the four most important women in her life, and these are her grandmother, mother and two sisters.

Motivated

“These women have picked me up when I really did not want to be up. There have been times in my career where I have said I’m done and they have motivated me to keep going,” Du-Pont revealed to Grazia Magazine.
After dating high profile rappers like Cassper Nyovest and Jub Jub, the Swazi-born star emotionally bares it all in the magazine interview, and gushes about her new found love with Shawn Rodriquez, who isn’t celebrity crazy and is very supportive of what she does and always encourages her to strive to be the best in her career.

She added that she knew the minute she laid her eyes on him that he would become her best friend, her everything and her homie.
“We laugh, we travel and all that,” she said.
