MATSAPhA – Fun lovers were treated to a night of wonderful performances and soulful sounds during the ‘Tiyas King’ Live in Concert show.

The event took place at the classy Deja Vu Cocktail Lounge, which is situated at Esibayeni Lodge, where the artist serenaded his fans with smooth sounds.
People not only showed up in numbers but also ensured that they followed the concert’s theme, which was ‘grown and classy’, in the way they dressed.

‘Tiyas’, real name Tiyamike Maziya, lived up to his title of being the king of local RnB as he filled up the venue and took his fans back on a journey of all his hit tracks, from the very first time he started his music career.
The RnB crooner, who was hosting his first solo concert since he launched his second album ‘Hello Summer’ in 2014, was supported by local acts KrTC and Amanda Mo, who opened the stage and warmed up the audience.

First to take to the stage was Swazi hip hop star KrTC, who was introduced as one of the sexiest hip hop stars by the hosts of the show in former Miss Tourism Swaziland Lebo Maseko and Amanda Mahlangu.
The two ladies, who were clad in stunning gold and nude toned shift cocktail dresses, kept the audience informed about the night’s programme.
As KrTC took to the stage at 9pm he mesmerised the audience with his on point vernacular word play that had ladies screaming for more.

KrTC sampled some new songs which he said featured in his upcoming album that is due for release this February.
After giving a brief performance, he was followed by the rose among the thorns on the night, afro soul and RnB singer Amanda Mo.
Clad in an all black outfit, the songbird showed off her vocal prowess with the live backing of the band Cord Unbreakable. She rendered a remarkable vocally charged performance of her songs titled ‘I like it’, and ‘Ujwayele’.
While on stage, she mentioned that since the night was one about love, she would stick to songs that talked about relationships. “We are here to support ‘Tiyas King’ and as the setting is all about dimmed lights and romance, we will keep it on the love track,” said the artist before her performance.

Dancing

Amanda made way for the main act, ‘Tiyas’ who took to the stage at 10pm with an upbeat  vocal tune from his album ‘Hello Sunshine’  titled ‘Let it burn’. The song had fans singing and dancing along as they were about to embark on an hour-long  set by the RnB crooner who sang popular tracks  from both  his albums ‘Lies & Truth’ and ‘Hello Sunshine’.
