MACULUVE MOCKED ON FACEBOOK GOSSIP

MBABANE – The continued abuse of the social network Facebook through gossip posts has landed a young woman in hot soup.

The woman used the social network to poke fun at gospel musician Apostle Vusi Maculuve, who went all out to trace the perpetrator with the police and got her.
The 22-year-old perpetrator who happens to be also an upcoming gospel singer used a fake account calling herself Mells Ntimane.

Ntimane’s real name is Nelisiwe Gamedze and is a former member of a Siphofaneni based group known as LaNkhosi Gospel Group.
On Monday at around 3am, Gamedze through her fake account posted a not so good looking picture of Maculuve, asking the group’s followers to state if they knew the person in the picture.

Most of those who commented mentioned that it was Maculuve and went on to accuse him of different things related to his bad past which made headlines a few years ago.
The comments offended Maculuve who then began to investigate the person who had posted the picture.
He began the investigation by checking the profile of Gamedze, including her friends who she communicated with on a regular basis.

He created his own fake account and made friends with one of Ganmedze’s friends whom he then charmed into telling him more about her.
The friend is said to have not only revealed the real name of Gamedze but also her contact details and her place of residence.
His investigation led the Apostle to Siphofaneni where Gamedze stays.  

Maculuve first went to identify Gamedze’s homestead before proceeding to the police station.
This happened towards midnight on Monday. In the early hours of Tuesday morning, the artist proceeded to the Siphofaneni Police Station where he reported the matter and gave all the information he had about Gamedze.

Before going to the police station, Maculuve had spoken to Gamedze but she never knew he was speaking to the Apostle. Infact, Maculuve posed as someone who wanted them to meet so they could damage him (Maculuve) even more by posting more dirty stuff about him.
