LOCAL SPIN AND DRIFT KINGS BATTLE ON SATURDAY

MBABANE – Team Swazi Motorsport will this Saturday host a spinning show dubbed ‘Battle of the Locals’ at the Mavuso Trade Centre in Manzini.

It is common that spin shows are populated by visiting spinners from our neighbouring South Africa but this time around Team Swazi has opted to promote local spinners, by only inviting three South African spinners and inviting all known Swazi spinners and crews.
This was confirmed by Team Swazi’s Nathi Nxumalo.

“We at Team Swazi have noted the increasing standard of spinning when travelling out of the country, which made us realise that Swazi spinners are very capable of meeting those standards with enough practice and exposure,” he said.

He mentioned that over the years they have noted that they have talented spinners in Swaziland, like King Shaka ‘Drift Devil’, Bucket of Luv from Matsapha Crew, the Masina Brothers, Dolly ‘Stupid Car Stupid Driver’ and Swazi Machine’s Samson to name a few.

“They have the potential to grow into the international spin scene and this is a platform for their exposure. From RSA we have Jeff James, Bra Sai and Kasi Crew. We can confirm that they will be in the country tomorrow evening, so as to avoid cases of disappointment,” Nxumalo said.

Action

The action starts at 3pm and entry fee will be E70 for Adults, E50 children and VIP parking at E50 (limited spaces).
“We will also have food and beverage stalls available inside. Cooler boxes are welcome at a small fee. We kindly advise those who will be bringing cooler boxes to avoid glass bottled drinks, we take safety very seriously, so we will not allow glass containers.”

  After the spinning and drifting showcase, Tinkers nightclub will be hosting the after party and entry will be free to those with wristbands from the spin show.
