MALKERNS – South African group The Muffinz’s soulful and flawless performance left a lasting impression on their local fans as their new album was sold out.

They kick-started their performance with ‘Have you heard’ and ‘do what you love’.
One could not even feel that they were short of two members as they sounded whole when they dished out refined sounds from their skillful deliverance.

The group’s latest offering titled ‘Do what you love’ was sold out before others who wanted to lay their hands on it could. Other fans voiced out their disappointment that the group did not carry enough CDs as the demand was high.

Fezile Dhlamini who is the group’s Social Media Manager said the support was very overwhelming. he also disclosed that it was his first time coming into the country and he was impressed with the fans singing along to the group’s songs.

Keke, who is a vocalist and a drummer for the group, said they were skeptical that people were going to buy the album, so they did not carry the CDs in surplus because they had not studied the market in Swaziland to detect the demand. “This is so awesome, we are very happy with the response we got.”

The Muffinz did not only deliver their best but they were friendly enough to take pictures and sign autographs. Immediately after their performance ended and they were wrapping up and unplugging their equipment, fans jumped onto the stage to have their CDs signed and to pose with them.

The Muffinz dropped what they were doing to give their fans attention, which spoke volumes of their character. They were not like typical artists who demand their privacy and take pictures when they want to.
