KHOLE SIGNS UP WITH PLATINUM EVENTS

MBABANE – As arts in the country are elevating, many artists have decided to elevate their brand by having managers in order to counter

disrespect in show business. Afro soul singer Khole has also decided to do the same by having Khulekani ‘Karly B’ Mamba of Platinum Events as her manager.

Mamba said the need came when the artist’s involvement was suggested in a number of events without having made contact and reaching an agreement with them.

Problem

“The big problem is that when such happens and the artist does not show up at those events, it is automatically assumed that it is her fault.”
He explained that their partnership triggered when he witnessed her sing at an event where he was managing the sound system.
He said Khole sounded unique and original and because she was singing Jazz and Soul infused together, hit a high note in his musical taste buds.
“I did not see or hear her sing for a long time until I was officially introduced to her by a mutual friend.”

He related that they had a chat about her music, how amazing it was and how it was not receiving the recognition it deserved. He said they decided to try something out to see if they could assist each other to grow, since he was also growing his artist management company.

Plan

 The manager planned to first cover ground in the country even though her music was of international standards and had so much potential to set tongues wagging outside their territory.

“It is my dream to see her grow, to see her achieve the international recognition she deserves. I would love to see her on international stages.”
Mamba said he also hoped to find a company with the right capacity to handle, develop and showcase such gold.
