MBABANE – After an absence of more than four years, South Africa’s most respected rapper Pro performed in the country and showed his fans that he hasn’t lost his touch.

This was during a show which served as an after party for the annual Swaziland Invitational Basketball Tournament, which features basketballers from different countries in the SADC region.

The show took place at the Solani’s Shisanyama and featured local artists who included KrTC, Tribal Misfits and the much loved spinner DJ Mbo of Earcandy fame.

Noted at the show was that most of the visitors did not stay to watch the South African hip hop icon perform.
However, they did spend some time chilling and having fun at the venue and boarded their buses at around 8pm.
Pro, real name Linda Mkhize, showed his love for his fans as he spent over two hours chilling with them and posing for pictures.

Problem

The artist had no problem allowing them inside his VIP area for chats and pictures.
This was before midnight and the artist only took to the stage at 2am, when everyone was already in the mood to dance and have fun.
He showed that he hasn’t lost his magic as he delivered a wonderful performance with songs from his previous albums.

The artist, who is originally from Soweto, showed that he still prides himself in singing his same old style of rapping in ‘kasi’ language, as he rapped mostly in vernacular.

His fans could not help but sing along and scream and he performed songs like the award winning ‘Dankie Sani’.
