MBABANE –  The common thing that was mentioned in the meeting between Her Royal Highness Princess Sikhanyiso and Miss Deaf Africa Thlokomelo Sabole was that truly a person emulates their name.

The involvement of the princess as a patron has brightened and stirred great interest in other countries to join hands with the pageant and raise awareness about disability.

To witness their meeting was the Deputy Prime Minister paul Dlamini, the Regional Administrator for Hhohho Prince Tsekedi, members of the royal family, a delegation from Lesotho, the Ambassador for Miss Deaf Africa Jack Avondo, Executive Director of Miss Africa Neo Mashishi and Imbali Foundation.

The event took place on Saturday at Happy Valley Hotel, where the patron addressed the queen as the most gorgeous lass in the room.
The beauty of Thlokomelo seemed to be the subject of the day as Prince Tsekedi had mentioned earlier that the team should be careful that they do not go back home short of one member.

This was after he overheard a few gentlemen commenting about the beauty of the queen, saying that it would be a mistake to let the pretty girl return home.
The reigning Miss Deaf Africa, speaking through her translator, thanked Princess Sikhanyiso for the support, of which she presented her with a gift.
She also conveyed her gratitude to Nokuthula Mbatha for working so hard and the Imbali Foundation for giving her the beautiful crown she was donning on the day. Furthermore, Thlokomelo said she was grateful to her parents for not rejecting her when she was young.
