MUVHANGO’S GUNDO BACK ON AUGUST 1

MBABANE – It seems as if South African actor Nkululeko Tshirumbula (known as Gundo on Muvhango) enjoyed his first visit to Swaziland as he is among the guests for Illa Penboy’s album launch scheduled to be held on August 1, 2015 at The Gallery.

Tshirumbula was in the country last weekend during the Imitsanyelo We Fashion Front Bhunu Mall Winter Fashion Show.
Illa Penboy’s new project titled ‘Ekxe Ntwana Konakele’ will be finally dropped.
The 11 track album includes songs that the public have already been dancing to such as ‘Skorokoro’, ‘Phola mshana’, ‘Tjwala bami’ and ‘Taxi man (Shhh Voom)’.

Interestingly, music lovers who will attend the show will be showered with free copies of the album during the show.
This was said by Illa Penboy during an interview with the newspaper.
“Those who will attend the show will not only be treated with good music but they will also go home with their free copies of the album.”

Among the supporting acts of the night will be some of the country’s prominent hip hop artists who have been featured in some of the songs in the album, including the likes of KrTC, Kangaroo, Qibho and the gorgeous Zama Mthethwa whose sweet voice is behind the syrupiness of the song ‘Taxi man’.

The lyrical rapper also confirmed that Tshirumbula will grace the show as a guest alongside one of the country’s best music producers Sabelo ‘Subjamz’ Sithungo, Sandz, Imitsanyelo We Fashion Front models and other individuals within the local entertainment industry.
Entry to the show is set at E100 and the show will start at 7pm.
