WE ARE READY FOR BUSHFIRE - FRESHLYGROUND

MBABANE – South African award winning group Freshlyground has made it known that they are prepared for the MTN BUSHFIRE Festival, which is set for this weekend.

The group is set to perform at the annual festival on Saturday, where they will share the stage with other big names in the arts industry including Sweet Sweet Moon, Tlale Makhene, Bongeziwe Mabandla, Black Jesus Experience, Banda Makana, Les Nubians and DJ Mixmash among others.

“SOOOOOO ready for Bushfire this weekend!!! Swaziland here we come baby,” reads Freshlyground’s post on its facebook page.
The group posted the update on Monday, which was accompanied by a picture where the members are dressed in black t-shirts bearing the MTN BUSHFIRE Festival logo.

The group last performed in the country last year at the annual Simunye Fun Fair, where they left their fans yearning for more.
Freshlyground is an afro-fusion band that was formed in Cape Town in 2002. The band members variously hail from South Africa, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
 The group’s musical style blends elements of traditional South African music, blues, jazz and features of indie rock.
