FAULTY SOUND SPOILS CASSPER NYOVEST’S SHOW
MBABANE – The much anticipated show featuring South African star Cassper Nyovest was spoiled by a faulty sound system on Friday night.
The show, which took place at Solani’s Shisanyama turned out to be a bad night for both the star and his fans due to the poor sound.
The sound was so bad that it cut off three times when the star was performing his hit songs including the popular banger titled ‘Doc Shebeleza’.
The microphone was not good as fans who were far from the stage could not hear the artist when he sang.
When the sound started showing signs of being faulty, the excited fans started singing struggle songs while the technicians were trying to fix the sound system.
The songs included ‘Yey’wena’ and ‘Ye Cassper site kuwe’ which led to the artist instructing his pianist to facilitate the audience with his crazy beats while they were singing their songs.
Disappointment
In an interview with this newspaper, Cassper expressed his disappointment in the organisers who, according to him, failed to do him justice with the sound system.
“These guys totally failed me.
“They did afford to book me and cater for my travelling allowances but failed to do the least expensive thing which is getting an intact sound system,” Cassper said.
Cassper Nyovest arrived to the show at around 12.30am and his fans cheered in excitement when he appeared on the stage.
At the beginning of his set, Cassper performed one of his famous tracks ‘Tsibip’ although he had his face covered with a hood which gave patrons a challenge to see his popular trademark ponytail.
