HIGH TEA FOR LADIES JUST PERFECT

EZULWINI- Beautiful ladies in fascinators, the cool breeze of Ezulwini Valley and a passionate guest speaker Gciniwe Fakudze all made the Royal Swazi Sun High Tea a fantastic event.

The event was held on Saturday afternoon at the hotel’s pool side area which was turned into a  beautiful setting of gold and violet décor with lilly flowers as the centrepiece that caught one’s eye. The guests were each welcomed with a glass of either juice or champagne, where they also received a raffle ticket which would be used for a fun raffle draw at the end of the event. Prizes for the raffle draw included lunch and dinner vouchers for two at the Royal Swazi Sun Terrace Grill Restaurant and a night’s stay for one lucky lady and her partner.

The women were also treated to a beauty consultation free of charge by Edgar’s Red Square staff who were on hand to give advice on beauty regimes and taking care of one’s skin. This kept everyone entertained until the guest speaker, Matsapha Town Council CEO, Fakudze took to the floor at 3:30pm.

Dressed in a free flowing black gown which matched perfectly with her fuschia stilettos and multicoloured wide brimmed hat, she gave a brief motivational talk to the over 30 women gathered. Fakudze welcomed the guests and shared with them that she had decided to change her talk from sharing wisdom to actually looking at what women need to have achieved at 30 years of age upwards.
“I would be insulting my elders to claim I am wise rather I would like to point out a few things I feel every woman by 30 years and up should know and goals they should strive to achieve as they live their lives,” she said.
