ALL SET FOR LOL FINALS TOMORROW

MBABANE – Preparations for the LOL Competition finals have been concluded and everything is in place for the comedy competition finals tomorrow at the Happy Valley Resort.

This was said by the competition’s Executive Director, Macford Sibandze during a press conference held at Ocean Basket yesterday.
“Everything is set for the finals and it’s no April fool,” Sibandze said.

During the press conference, the LOL Competition Committee members were dressed in pilots and plane attendants uniforms, as they themed the success of the competition to be more like a plane that has taken off and will be landing tomorrow evening.
Sibandze also announced the Chief Judge of the finals, Bennedict Bennett and alongside him will be House on Fire’s Jiggs Thorne, Ncobile Dlamini and Zodwa.

The Master of Ceremonies will be local comedian Mfokolozi Maziya, who was also present at the press conference.
Sibandze also highlighted that the opening act of the finals will be the Pelepele Dance Group, who will display their blistering dance moves for the audience’s entertainment.

“I would forward my heartfelt thanks to the various local media houses for being the chief drivers of this competition, from the beginning up to this stage,” Sibandze said.

He also clarified that the show is expected to run for about two hours since it will be held mid week, so to give time for the audience to reach their destinations on time after the competition.
