MBABANE – Aspiring actors and actresses have a shot of making it to the silver screen as Dream Entertainment will have a film casting auditions tomorrow.

According to Dream Entertainment’s Public Relations Officer Ayanda Dlamini, they will be auditioning males and females aged between 12- 40 years old.
“We are working with South Africa based producers on a short film titled ‘The Prostitute’, which deals with the life of a young girl growing up and due to challenges she faces ends up in the prostitution world.”
Dlamini said the reason they were casting girls from as young as 12 years old is because there is a flashback scene in the movie, where the main character is still a young girl.

Auditioned

“Parents must please come through with their children aged below 18 years old as they have to give consent first as anyone below 18 years will not be auditioned without a parent present,” added Dlamini.
The male actors are required to be aged from 18- 40 years.

The film producers are hoping to successfully recruit 15 potential actors and actresses for the movie, with the majority being females, as soon as contracts are signed filming will resume on the very first week of December.

“We are looking for great actors and actresses as there will be a short period for script recital before filming resumes. We want the film to hit the South African market by January,” said Dlamini.
Those who would like to audition should be at La-Casserole at 10am and E50 is required as a registration fee.
