MISS TOURISM’S TERM EXTENDED

NKOYOYO – Miss Tourism Lebo Maseko will remain the country’s tourism ambassador for the next six months.
This was announced by Imbali Foundation patron, Her Royal Highness Princess Sikhanyiso on Tuesday.

Imbali Foundation is the directing organisation for Miss Tourism and crowned its first queen last year.
“We have decided to extend the queen and her two princess’s reign by a further six months. She will therefore continue with her duties and charity schedule,” said Princess Sikhanyiso .

Her Royal Highness said Imbali Foundation was planning a spectacular event for 2015, where South African hosts and artists have been already confirmed.

“Just like we had a great first pageant, we want to keep to that trend and make next year’s Miss Tourism bigger and better.
We have secured a female host from South Africa, who is not just an entrepreneur but into beauty pageants as well. We have also confirmed two major artists to perform on the day,” said Princess Sikhanyiso.

The Princess said the names of the celebrities will be revealed in due course.
What she needs now from the public is to continue supporting and assisting Lebo Maseko as the current title holder. Miss Tourism Lebo Maseko expressed joy about the extended reign and said she was ready for the challenge.

“I am very excited that we will continue to promote tourism in my country. It’s a great opportunity for us to finish executing our projects namely the start up of tourism clubs at the University of Swaziland,” said Maseko .
The dates for the next Miss Tourism 2015 will be announced in a due course and the public will also be alerted on when scouting will resume.
