STEFANUTTI TENDER: ABOUT 450 JOBS COMING

MBABANE – On top of being the cheapest bid, the Stefanutti Stocks multi-million Emalangeni contracts come with more benefits for emaSwati.

Stefanutti Stocks outclassed its competitors, achieving a 100 per cent evaluation score to win the bid for the construction of the secondary distribution systems and pump stations and roads for contract one and two. The procuring entity is the Eswatini Water and Agriculture Development Enterprise Ltd (ESWADE), a wholly-owned government parastatal in the Ministry of Agriculture.

Stefanutti Stocks was awarded both contracts on May 7, 2020, with the official project commencement date on June 18, 2020. They are for phase two of the Lower Usuthu Smallholder Irrigation Project (LUSIP) Phase II. Stefanutti Stocks’ bid value at tender opening for LUSIP Phase II Contract One was E348 441 835. For LUSIP Phase II Contract Two the figures were at E314 271 768.89. These are ‘discounted figures’ as compared to that of competitors who submitted bids of about E400 million, as per documents seen by this publication.
Stefanutti Stocks confirmed the employment opportunities.

The community upliftment budget is managed at senior management level which provides direction on the choice of initiatives that drive the community upliftment strategies.
On various projects in the country, they have been responsible for many community upliftment initiatives which include but are not limited to sponsoring literacy classes; assisting poorer communities with clothing, blankets and toys.
